I have a hazy recollection of playing 'Dance, Dance, Dance' by Marta Acuna during a closing at some point during this time frame and was curious to listen back but alas, it wasn't in this one and the other recordings are corrupt so it will remain a cherished memory. Funny to skip through and hear some of the hype tunes of the moment, I feel like everyone was all over that Liaisons Dangereuses edit which is absolutely coated in noise with a slightly awkward rhythm and 'Fuzzin' The Tracks' seems charmingly wistful now. How times have changed! This would have been from about 3-7am. It was so dark in the basement you had no idea if you were playing to 20 or 2000 people, and the club could feel like the best place in the world to be from when it opened until the pandemic and was very lucky to have had a small place there as a young adult.
